Mistaken Identity

This is even better than getting ma'amed.

Last night at the restaurant one of my tables asked me if I was "college bound" or going back to school. I think I gave them somewhat of a blank stare and it made them question that perhaps I was already done with college--a fact I confirmed. They proceeded to probe further and ask when. I told them when, informed them of my age, and was met with a blank stare of disbelief. Fun.

But it gets even better...

Tonight, Lissa and I are sitting and watching Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. The doorbell rings and I go to answer it. It's a painter that tells me he's working on a house down the street. He gives me his card and--get this--asks me to give it to my parents. I didn't bother to correct him, but I think he realized his mistake before he left the doorstep. The laughter inside was enough for me, and I can imagine the egg he must have on his face.
