reading, walking, and rolling

I'm definitely in research mode at the office, which means lots of reading and not a whole lot of "doing." So at the end of the day, there's new and interesting stuff in my brain, but I can't really look at anything and say, "Yeah, I did that today."

I have confirmed that I'll be joining in on a Relay for Life team captained by the illustrious drewsifer. Sounds like many people I know are also on the team, so it sounds like great, sleep deprived fun! I'm looking forward to it. Thanks for the invite, Drew!

Finally, I went bowling again tonight. Once again, our league meets on Wednesday nights, but Lissa can't make it. So this week we're actually bowling a day early instead of a day late. I decided to switch from a 14 lb. ball back down to a 12 lb. ball because the middle and ring fingers on my right hand were kinda sore after last week. They're not as sore now as they were after last week, so I think I may stick with the 12 pounder for awhile.

At any rate, I missed my best ever score by one point in my third game tonight with a 165. My other two games were pretty decent too, so my three game total was actually higher than last week's even though two out of my three games were actually slightly lower than last week. So maybe--just maybe--I'll actually be able to keep pace with the seemingly impossible average I set last week. I guess time will tell...but so far, so good.
