I think I'm going to go ahead and have the air conditioner service people come out after all (the appointment is currently set for Friday morning). When I got home last night, the house wasn't hot, so it looked like it had been able to run during the day some, but when the thermostat program kicked it down a few degrees, it never seemed like it got much cooler. So I'm going to call it flaky at best and have them take a look. That's the $69...the diagnostic fee. Hopefully it's just something simple like a loose connection or something and the bill won't get a whole lot higher.
In other news, I seem to have pulled myself out of my bowling slump last night. I was actually feeling really crappy when I got home, so I took a bit of a nap before bowling. Lissa woke me up about half an hour before bowling to see if I still felt like going. I wanted to go, but I was really feeling crummy. After about 15 minutes of struggling to get myself going, I finally decided I'd just try and go in spite of how I felt.
As it turned out, once I got going, I felt better. Not perfect, but better. I managed to bowl 150, 120, and 154. So I'm pretty happy about that.
